habits of people who are remarkably successful
It
is undoubtful, we all believe that success of an individual completely depends
on his hard work as this was how our teacher at primary school taught us. If
that is so, millions of people who work hard every day must have been more
successful, right? When we have a deeper look at the lives of people who are
more successful(people who have complete financial freedom and people who are
in higher designations) possess some different qualities that have enabled them
to reach higher levels.
Let
me now simplify and jot down the five major steps which successful people must
have allowed in their lives to scale up to their positions.

Handling emotions
The
success of an individual depends on how he handles his emotions. In fact, the
people who are more successful are the people who know to handle their emotions
intelligently. Millions of examples can be quoted for this. Perhaps, the best
example that strikes me is a lady software engineer who was one of my trainees
in the position of a project manager in a leading software company. Most often
they leave the company and reach home by late evening after which she has to
take care of her family members, both these tasks involves more stress and if
she is not able to manage her emotions naturally she would have been
unsuccessful both in the process as a home maker at home and as a project
manager at her office. This is the situations with most of the women especially
those in higher designations. Positive mental attitude like joy, gratitude,
serenity, interest, pride, hope, love are always the signs of successful
people. Emotions like fear, anger, anxiety, sorrow could bring nothing but
failures.

Staying happy
Success
for some people is to make more money and for few others it to become famous. However,
the outcome of success is happiness. The modern theory says only people who are
more happy can be more successful in their life. Serotonin, which is a chemical
created by the human body acts as a neurotransmitter influences the majority of
the brain cells. The deficiency of serotonin would lead to loss of appetite, energy,
sleep, memory and sexual desire, the secretion of serotonin depends on the
happiness of an individual. The Americans who stand as one of the top ten
happiest people in the world are the successful too. The ‘Live Happy’ magazine
states that people who are extremely happy always are the people who are more
audacious and can easily handle a tough situation in life.

Eat well
We
all know that eating healthy food helps in improving our physic and in avoiding
health issues, but food plays a major role in have more energy, feel great,
improve your outlook and stabilize your mood too. Most of the people, students
especially who prepare for their board exams, software engineers sometimes
never care for their food hoping for doing best at their work which would only
give a negative effect. Thomas Corley, the author of ‘Rich Habits: The Daily
Success Habits Of Wealthy Individuals’ says rich people value their health,
watch their waistline and count calories everyday. He says that is because they
know the end of their career is the biggest earning years and they always
expect to extend their career four to five years beyond everyone else.
Give
way for others
We
have always either misunderstood what success is, or never understood. I used to ask my
trainees to define success during most of my training sessions and for which I
receive no answer or only irrelevant answers. I strongly believe that one
cannot succeed without knowing what success is and where his success in life
is. We all believe that for me to succeed in life someone has to fail which never
happens. Nepoleon Hills defines success as the process of getting whatever we
want from life without affecting the principles of others and helping others to
achieve it. Successful people are those who have analyzed what they exactly
want in their life and are also the people who help others to achieve it.
Sleep
on it
We
have learnt about successful people and imagine to ourselves that it is either
fatalistic or luck. Perhaps we fail to realize that they have sweat on it for
years together. Success is never a one day story, it takes months or sometimes
years to reach our vision, but what is more required is to stay focused and
determined until the goal is reached. The successful entrepreneurs, eminent sports
persons all have one thing in common, they all have reaalised where they have
to be and what they have to do and work continuously on it.
